Well water quality & control

Hey yall,

My well water has a ph of 8.1 and a tds of 50.

What do you knowledgeable folks recommend to bring it down to a ph of 6-7.

Thank you!
Don

A TDS of 50 PPM is a good one. Surprising.

I use this to adjust the pH down. pH Up is also available and you may want to use it when you start adding nutes, which will drive the pH of the water/nute mix way down. Remember that you need to adjust pH after adding nutes, and not before adding them.

pH Down is one way. :+1:

I use citric acid. I use well water thats about the same as yours, and I use just a hair less than 1/4 tsp to bring it down to 6.5.
