Well damn one side of my panel isnt working

This only happened when I tried to extend the drivers out of the tent. Hopefully replacing it will fix the short. Been a few weeks in service.

Sorry to hear that. The driver and connectors were for a little DIY light build. First one and I am about as far away from any electric wiring knowledge as a person can get. dbrn32 can confirm that.
Good luck and hopefully you can fix it.

Sucks cuz Home Depot doesnt sell barrell conmectors.

When you soldered each wire, did you wrap them individually with tape before bundling them together?

Yes i did. I probably did a bad solder job. I wish home depot had connectors like the ones above.

Wire nuts will hold you down until you can order those and get them delivered.

So im guess cut out the old wire strip the 2 sides back and wire the two together.

I just dont want torun out of wire that the driver is attached to.

I’d desolder those connections. I wouldn’t cut more as it looks like you’re already pretty short on the cable going into the fixture.

Like @BobbyDigital says. Just heat up solder joint and pull apart.

This should do it.

In a pinch you can use wagos if waterproof isn’t necessary

Ya cuz the waterproof ones either started to melt or have some kinda residue on them.

I feel like these will come off or start a fire.
EDIT: Soldered them together and just stuck the nuts on.
