Hi all!

Over the past week there has been some different spots appearing on my two plants leaves. Some leaves also have some yellow edges. Growth has been going well but I wanted to see if this was something that would end up being a larger problem down the line. You can also see some twisted, gnarled growth in one of the pics.

Could be nutrient splash.

Can you get nute splash even without adding any nutrients? This is my first grow so I opted to go with super soil to keep things simple before getting into nutrient mixing.

Not usually. But you may have splashed water on the leaves. The droplets act like magnifying glasses and burn the leaves.

That could be it, not always the most graceful with watering. I’m guessing the remedy is just to be more careful next time and that this won’t be a long term issue?
