Weekly update. Is it ready

Hey everyone. This is my first grow and you guys have been invaluable. I feel like I’m getting pretty close but would love a second or third opinion. Sorry if these are a little blurry.

Looks very nice! :heavy_check_mark: Lots of white hairs! But what are you growing specifically?

Hi. It’s white widow and ak-47. Like I said it was my first grow so I selected the seeds that said they were for beginners :joy:

All this trich pics look like sugar leaves which will mature faster. The plant itself looks around 5 weeks or so to go

Hmm, looks like they could go at least another 5weeks, maybe more… lots and lots of white hairs! However I haven’t grown these and am not familiar with how they grow.

With that being said. Keep it up! :heavy_check_mark:

Looks really good! But… you still have a ways to go. Those buds will still fatten up a lot in the next few weeks and you don’t wanna harvest early and have a racy head high

I agree with @BobbyDigital at least 5weeks, and when you get more Triche pics get them of the flower and not the sugar leaves. They look good though!

Thanks everyone. I guess I’m not certain exactly what part of the plant I need to be looking at for the tricomes. I thought it was the leaves but I guess not?

You’re looking for the trichs on the calyx (the bits the pistils are sticking out of). They’re going to be obstructed due to all the white pistils. As they start to recede, it will be much easier to identify. You be looking for these bulbous figures

Awesome. Thanks for that.

So thinking they may be ready to start flushing I stopped giving them nutes last week. Will it be ok to pick back up with nutes tomorrow since I still have a ways to go?

Yeah definitely start your feedings again! Don’t want them to eat themselves!

Absolutely. Definitely want to feed her so she plumps up. This is about where you’re at compared to where they end

I just seen that bud in a PORN thread, she was lookin’ nice then too  :sunglasses:

She’s in solitude with 0 light. She was naughty, lol

Amazing, so that is what they start to do… I don’t know to change light schedule or not

Are they seriously in zero light? Does that help toward the end?

Chopping after a dark period is supposed to cause the plant to expel its sugars which makes the smoke smoother. I’ve never noticed a difference chopping with or without a dark period. She’s just sitting in the dark tent because my dry tent is occupied by my vegging plants until the other flowering plant finishes up.
