Watering issues

Hello everyone. I live in Las Vegas. It’s hot as hell here and the humidity is typically under 10%.

I have my plants in a tent. I started using those black cloth bags to plant in. I noticed the bag and soil never dries out. It’s always moist. Will this or can this hurt the plant?

I just put one outside. I’m hoping to leave it out for like an hour so it will dry out. I have fans I. The tent for air flow. Not sure if that’s what is causing it? Maybe add another fan?

Cannabis prefers wet and dry cycles. Water, wait until the soil dries out, and then water again. If it is always wet, then you are watering too often.

If they are always wet, increase the time between watering. I’m not in AZ, but I am in Texas and I water every other day or so. When the bag “feels” light,I water them. I soak them every week or so.

This right here.

It’s almost impossible to overwater in a fabric pot, but you need to let the plant dry out…

Hot dry temps don’t equal plants not drying out. You either have really crappy soil, poor growing environment, bad water habits or all of the above

I suspect you have a small plant in too big of a container and your giving too much water. Its very easy to overwater when doing that.
