Can you water plants with well water?
We use well water. What nutes sre you running, i started with gh flora and had to order the micro for hard water. My outdoor grows come from the well inside goes through ro filters
I use well water Check your ppm and ph so you know what you’re working with, then adjust accordingly.
Thank you
For your help and advice.
First time grower and bought this a pot for a pot she’s an auto flower month old and I will start feeding when my tiger bloom comes in tomorrow
What soil are you using
Soil is from a pot for a pot with coco
I use well water, for the most part. But it is good to know what is in it. You can get an analysis done by the Jack’s fertilizer peeps. If you don’t know what is in it, being off for CalMag is a risk. Mine has a fair amount, so I supplement CalMag only when I’m using distilled or dehumidifier water.
Thank you
I’m trying to figure out how my plants went from looking beautiful as you can see from earlier pictures. Overnight my bottom leafs started to turn yellow. So trying to figure out what went wrong. Everything is right on with ph and humidity. It’s in the veg stage
Do you have any pictures
I use well water. One of the first things I did was get a ph meter and an EC or PPM meter. The water coming out of my faucet is 6.8 -6.9 PH pretty consistently and the ppms are about 100. I am growing in coco using Jacks. Edit. If you have a grow journal, or start one in the “show your grow” section of the forum the people trying to help you can just scroll up through your journal to find out what you are doing. Just tag people with the @Dreaming in front of their username to ask them a question.
Its normal for plants to lose those bottom leaves. Do you have better pictures of the upper part of the plant. Try to use natural lighting or the flash on your camera. Also fill out a support ticket

For your wonderful advice
Watch her carefully! The P4P has “superb soil” underneath. I though I’d get cute on my first grow and gave her a little (and I do mean little!) touch of nutes and she promptly - as in next day! Got tip burn on all of her leaves.
I had to take her to the tub and flush the heck out of the poor girl.
My girl was happiest when she got Recharge, which is a microbial supplement. I also used very light doses of “Sugar Daddy” and “MagiCal”. I did give also a couple of 1/2 strength doses of a bloom booster (forget the name atm) in her last few weeks.
My friend also used a P4P and never gave anything - didn’t even pH the water - and his plant grew beautifully.
You can also write to the people at P4P. They are very nice and prompt in answering questions.
Good luck with your grow!
Yes, you can use well water adjust your ph up or down back to sweet spot 6.5 PH before watering.
I use well water, and the ph is over 7, so I use a little less than 1/4 tsp citric acid per gallon to lower it. These plants are 31 days above ground.
Thank you
For taking the time to write to give me advice on my babies. I guess what scares me is doing a run off and over watering it. It’s my first grow and hopefully everything will grow beautifully if not I learned from trial and error. Again thank you
You’re very welcome, feel free to ask me anything - using A Pot for Pot went well but it is a bit different from either soil alone or coco alone.
