Using volcanic ash and basalt as soil amendments

Has anyone used basalt or volcanic ash in your soil. I’ve been reading about it the last few days and I’m seeing some really positive things about it. I know some of the finest cannabis on the planet grows in it in Vietnam and other countries in Asia. I mix my own soil and I’m seriously considering it.

One of the best cannabis grows in Mt Shasta area :wink::wink::wink::wink: yes , it is used the same way as perlite…
Mt Shasta is massive vulcano in Northern California, all around there are 100’s thousands MJ plants , a lot of them straight in the ground…

Thanks @Ragnar . I will get a bag of it when I mix the next batch of soil.
