Using a ppm meter

I am about to get a ppm meter, I was wondering what are people’s suggestions on what meters to get?
And also, would I be testing the water that accumulates in the pan my buckest are in?

Any cheap ppm meter will work. You only want to spend big money on a ph meter

Hi - I have never splurged on TDS meters and have stuck to the cheap Amazon models. And yes, yo want to measure the run off that collects in your pan or bucket right after you water. Here’s my list of the stuff I use.
