Used trim bowl for first time

Ok I used the trim bowl on my first grow today I did a wet trim. Now it did a good job and now they are in my tent drying on racks but I don’t think I will ever do a wet trim again. I did trim in my basement where my hvac system is located and the smell is so strong that it went to all three levels of my house lol

Can you trim outside? I like wet trimming

Do you do the entire trim wet or do you just a good rough cut and then finish when dry?

@Jeepguy did you get any pictures? I am a few weeks away from pulling mine, very interested in the bowl and how it worked.

@Flyinbrian78 yeah this was my first grow and first time using the trim bowl also now it will dry faster since it has no stems. So on my first grow i got 9 oz out of it

@diz you can look up vivosun trim bowl or what he said :point_up_2:on Amazon. I believe it’s meant for dry trimming. I don’t know if I’ve ever heard of anybody wet trimming in a bowl.

I use mine after they dry and would not trade it for the world. I can trim a half lb in mins.

If you’re want to sell or have big buds, it may not be for you.
If you like trimming for hrs, then it may not be for you.

It does not trim as good as hand trimming. If you crank it too many times it will make your buds small (er). We always hand trim a few for special occasions. Just my2 c worth. :+1:t2::v::sunglasses:

Ok cool, thanks for the reply. New grower abd first two harvests I have done from hand. Enjoyable, tiring, sore neck but then the finished product :heart_eyes:

I am hoping I get close to that with mine. It is my first grow as well, I can say one thing, it’s hard to kill one of these plants :joy:. This is the biggest one out of 3.

@HappyHydroGrower the trim bowl comes with a straight blade that is made for wet trimming
