Undecided and I need HELP. Im currently running 1000wHPS dimmable ballast set @600w but its to HOT for the summer but works well for me during the winter, I need to know what LED light would be best giving me the same light pull like my HPS??

Are you using an air-cooled hood and good exhaust? I do and have no issues controlling temps with 600 watt HPS/MH.
A nice LED replacement would be a couple HLG 260’s or 1 HLG 550 v3 rspec. Many other options out there depending on your grow space size and budget.
Not using an air-cooled hood or an exhaust just starting, only thing is that the room has an ac inverter that help keeping it cool and fans inside the tent 50-67 humidity 81-84 temp I have a 48x48x80 grow tent.

Well, you could a spend little moeny for air-cooled hood and 400 cfm exhaust fan or throw big money at good led lights (like the HLG’s).

They’re a loved LED manufacturer around here, but not cheap. Can’t post a link but google Horticulture Lighting Group, check out their website and prices for their LED lamps and kits, great lights. Don’t waste money on cheap blurple LED lights.

Thanks, cause I dont like to waste money on something thats not good enough I will be checking them out. So far I have returned 6 led grow lights to the big delivery company cause it wasnt giving me what I was looking for. Thanks again I will be looking into them

I have just gone from hps to led, I just read you have no exhaust? Do you have a fan pushing air in and a fan sucking air out of your tent? You need good air circulation or the plant will not get fresh Co2 and oxygen the air in your tent will go stale and you maybe struggling from heat because of that.
I was running 2 600wHps at 450w in a 2.5ft x 5.5ft tent.
I did have one of them hooded attached to the exhaust.
But ongoing $$ wise I have moved to LED.
I am more than happy to share my build but I went fairly excessive aiming for 1000-1500umol even coverage.
A lot of reading and watching videos but jump on “let’s talk about lighting” @dbrn32 I don’t no how to tag a feed.

Get the new HLG 650r to replace the HPS…or grab 3 260xl kits and you can run them at a lower power setting which would make the light ever MORE efficient
