Welcome ! My first choice would be to tuck a few to create better light penetration and I usually take a few along the way. But by no means do I get crazy with taking all my fan leafs off. Just my thoughts good luck!

If this is an outdoor grow , just make sure that you have good air movement throughout the canopy…
You only defoliat indoors to improve light penetration…
Outdoors is to have good airflow…
