Trim Bin Static

How does everyone deal with static in their trim bin? Kief seems to stick to mine like glue, can’t ever get it all out.

I put some parchment paper in the bottom of the bin. That way it all collects on the paper and you don’t have to chase pixie dust. No static to worry about.

And the crazy thing is I literally just got parchment cooking sheets that should be perfect!!
I think the woman wants me to make lava cakes! LOL

So I dont use trim bins but i know a little bit about static electricity and conductivity…

Use a dryer sheet and rub the bin down real good with it before using it.

I would probably not rub the inside where material will come in contact just so it dont taste like soup  just rub the outside really good like you trying to polish it.

But the dryer sheet will temporarily increase the conductivity of any plastic and make it hard if not impossible to hold a staic charge.

Its literally how they work in the dryer…

Great idea, thanks.

Buy aluminium foil baking pans cheap and no static.

I thought about dryer sheets but didn’t want to have the chemicals in my product. Wouldn’t have thought doing just the outside would have helped any. Thanks

I do not know from experience if it will.
And you are right it probably not a good idea for the inside.
If you try it on the outside, let us know if it does actually work.
It is just a hypothesis, I’m curious how it holds up to testing
