I’ve got an autoflower Do Si Do plant. This is my first harvest. Here are some pictures of the buds and some of the trichromes. They seem cloudy to me but if anyone has any advice or suggestions it would be appreciated. Thanks!
Can you get closer more magnified pics?
Tried to zoom… But couldn’t tell if it’s out of focus and grainy due to zoom or cloudy trichs.
A lot of white pistols still. The brown pistols have not started to recede. Another week or two.
Your getting close! Great job so far!
Need a wifi microscope…will help decision to chop.
Keep up the good work
This is maybe the hardest time. They look ready and you would get some pretty good smoke but…
If you wait it out and resist the urge, they still have a lot of “bulking up” to do. It may not show much change but they will get denser and heavier still.
I flushed her with two gallons of distilled water a couple days ago. Would you add any more nutrients at this point?
Yes, I would go back to a regular feed schedule with bloom nutes (less N more P&K). Probably will need several more feedings before she is truly done. She looks healthy but I see some pet hair or something. You will need to look in to bud washing techniques for harvest time.
Those are pretty clear shots. The amber that is there is on sugar leaves. As @GreggT said, wait for the orange pistils to shrivel and get more brown. 2 weeks will make a world of difference maybe even 3+.
Thanks for the advice! I’ll keep an eye on it for the next few weeks.
Good morning @PharmerKush. How long have they been in flower? They look great and I agree with @HMGRWN I would give it a couple more weeks too. But watch those trichomes on the bud it’s self. The sugar leaves will ripen faster than the bud. Happy growing
Thanks for the help. These are some updated pictures.
