Hey guys, I bought a jeweler loop as a member recommended. I did some inspecting and can’t tell if it’s the lighting or the trichomes are actually become opaque. Just wanted to see your guys’ thoughts.

Don’t look at the sugar leaves and pistols. While pretty, not the place to look. Look at the bud and in the crevices and around the base of the sugar leaves. Light will turn the trichomes prematurely.

I see what you are saying. I looked at the trichomes on the actual buds and they still need time to mature for sure. Still clear-looking.

The trichomes on the leaves and pistols are good, but they are by and large what we trim off and use as kief or turn into bubble hash or edibles. The good stuff is on or in the buds…
