Very nice , I would keep giving the basic care and let them ride for right now. Keep up the good work.
Thanks, the left rear is my problem child…we’re worried about her …
Also, agree, good job! I would just like to add, you can always top later if they are photos. Like @kellydans said letting them go a bit longer will also help make them a little stronger when you do top and may not take as long to recover.
Bergmans bible says to top autos between the third and forth node. Top photos between the forth and fifth node. Just an fyi. Good luck and keep’em growin!
The Durban is a photo, the WW is an auto… the Layer Cakes are Dispo orphans so who knows…
The two in the front photos ? I see about 5 nodes.
Hello,… bad at math… I’m also old and senile…lol
My bad , which two are autos ?
Just the baby WW in the middle
Sorry , I see the tags now. I like to top photos at about 6 maybe 7 nodes. At this point I would not remove no leafs.
Very nice set up , may I ask what kind of soil?
Plant City … its a special blend I make up… the Ph is a little high but I’m working on that
I’m not familiar with Plant City, The 4 plants in the tent they look a little unhappy, The reason I ask one of the common factor is the soil.
the one in the RR, I trimmed off fan leaves that were spotted… the LR is yellowing…yea she isn’t happy… the others are ok… I have all new soil mixed up n ready…
the Ph on this batch is just too high… to try to correct
Where can one find good CLEAN soil … NO additives or full of some type of wood compost in it…which is what is in there now… the tannins in the wood are jacking the Ph… the new batch I made came from the local Strawberry fields…good rich tilled veggie soil.
I’m not interested in playing with Nutes this time around… Organic only this time
ok, here comes all the feedback… we only use FF .lol…
I did Nutes once… to much micro-management…
It is a challenge with lots of trials and errors. It is very hard if not impossible for a stand alone soil to make it from seed to harvest. I think most need some sort of boost during flower or at least a PK kicker. I’m sure there are some really good mixes that come close but…
I have seen people recommend Build a Soil and Earth Dust dry nutrients.
I have bags and boxes of soil building supplements. I now use them in the garden.
I have found coco, perlite and Jacks to be productive and as easy as it gets.
Lot of Proven cannabis friendly soil Fox farm, roots organic , black gold. will carry the plant 4 to 6 weeks. I have added a few things to ocean forest an carry me up to flowering stage. And at that point hit it with a veg nute a couple times and follow up with the Bloom nutes to finish the plant.
I use coco and Jack’s as well now, but Coast of Maine Stonington Blend was really good soil when I used it. It has some stuff in it, not sure the exact contents anymore but good stuff.
From their website:
This soil incorporates mycorrhizal fungi, kelp, fish bone and alfalfa meal, as well as worm castings, peat, coir and lobster compost. When growing in 15 gallon containers, there is no need for additional nutrients.
It is OMRI listed for use in organic gardens
You’re holding it back and stunting it in that small pot just fyi
Yea, I have a fabric 3 gal w her name on it… It wasn’t standing on its own until yesterday. lol
