Topping outdoor plants

Here we go with my first grow! Should I be topping my plants? This is a outdoor grow.

Topping is a personal decision. Either way it’ll grow just fine. If this needs to be kept a little shorter, to keep from being seen, I would recommend topping. @Waj and welcome to the forum.

I agree with @Covertgrower. Also, outdoors you have tons of light and could maximize yield with some topping and training, too.

Thanks for the reply’s, I’m very excited to see how they turn out. I have 5 in the ground all are looking good so far. Thanks again.

Also YouTube supercropping. My outdoor plants have responded well.

Unless there is an issue with the shape of the plant or it needs to be kept below a fence line for security reasons I would not top the plant that is simply wasting growth.

I would top or fim the (fem) or photo-period plants. But I do not top the Autos. Just my personal habits.

Bend her over, make lots of tops and keep her shorter.
