Took out 15-20 mins planted seeds to verify the taproot was pointing down

I am a first time grower and i germinated my seeds using paper towel method and when their taproots emerged i planted them in soil but in planting process some of my seeds slliped from my hand and fell down but their taproots were intact and secondly after planting for 15-20 mins i again took out to verify that i planted my seeds correctly i.e, tip pounting down so i wanted to know will there be any problems with germination?

No the germination is over. It’s best to plant with the taproot down but even if you don’t “nature will find a way” meaning they’ll still pop up just be a lil longer.

The seed will know which way to go and just like the above post it’ll correct itself and nature will uh find a way

You can plant them as soon as they crack open. Plant them and give them a good dial. They should be ok. Good luck and happy growing!!!

Your germinated seeds sprouts will be fine depending on how they were drop in the hole some may take a little longer to emerge than others. Good luck

According to who? I do exactly opposite, husk down tail up. If pre germinated 100% pop and no helmets.

You should be fine. Im usually listening to some show when doing it and dont pay attention how they go in. They fall down the hole…i cover and forgetem for a few days. I do have a very special tool i use though. Grin.

Long as tap wasn’t damaged they are fine.

And it actually makes do difference if iy pointing straight up, it will find its way diwn with roit and up with sprout.

Does seed again come out ftom soil before converting into a seedling?

Really. That is interesting
You do that with all of them. How long is the tail when you do this.

Yes, every single seed i drop this way. Short tail, i would say typically 1/4" or less. Otherwise you need hole deep to cover the tap root.

I pocked this up from Mr Soul of brothers grimm seeds several years ago.

What’s your thoughts on why a tap root grows out of the top?

Cool I’ll give it a shot.

Same here. Helps the soil pull off the husk as it’s sprouting.

I plant seed in forever pot. So I guess mother nature lets the seed know which way to go

That’s what I tried to tell them but it’s whatever lol

I can just do that with tweezers instead of making the plant work to pull the husk off and save all the energy it burned doing it. Legit makes no sense to put the taproot up considering roots grow down lmfao
