Too tall for tent

A question from a fellow grower:

I have a question that I need answered and I really hope you can help.
Hypothetically, if a first time grower had a ebb and flo system and the plants are doing very well.
Although the plants are in flowering , they are getting a bit to tall for the tent they are in.
My question is , what can be done about how tall they are getting without messing up the flowering?

You can tie down the taller branches without breaking them and that should help some , but normally in vegging you might want to learn how to train your plants to stay bushy and short , instead of stretching into your lights . But growing is learning , but try to tie the tall branches down ah little .
