Don’t get them too close to the light or turn the light up too high…they’re too thin and can burn. Move them up a a little and see if that promotes more leaf growth after 24-36 hours. Everything is done in small increments when they’re so young. I put a thermometer next to the plant at the same height to monitor the temps as not to fry them. I did that to two plants 6 weeks ago.
But, when you transplant to can bury some of that stalk.
Ok cool awesome, those are photos, so what are some of the differences I’m gonna fave when growing a photo, considering I’ve only grown autos
And when is a good time to transplant, cuz when I do they’re going into final pot
Photos, as a general rule, are much more forgiving than autos. I would wait till they have some more leaves, then into larger containers. With photos, you decide when to start the flower stage by controlling the light schedule.
In the beginning, there isn’t much difference between photos & autos.
As for transplanting, I now go clear Solo cup so I can see root growth…that tells me when to transplant. But in a perfect world, it’s about 2-3 weeks from breaking soil for me to transplant. It so depends on the genetics, the nutrients you’re using, and how generally healthy they’re growing.
This is at 3 weeks…waited a bit too long, but she turning into a monster!
This is also at 3 weeks…
This was my last grow and they both produced over 6ozs each…which I can live with all day!
Yup! What @IP54 has is what ya want. And the clear solo cups are the way to go! He’s got ya covered!
As you can see I used a propagator, for my seeds, I germed in paper towel, but my problem is I have no actual soil to sprout them in the propagator, and I’ve been using the coco but when I transplant the coco usually falls apart before I get the root ball into the place it’s going cuz of how loose the coco is, so what can I do? The prop is clear and I can the roots in that as well, so should input them into cups THEN pots?
Go find @Hellraiser ’s Zkittles in Coco thread. He’s the guy to ask for sure.
