Hi, I have to thank you all for the tremendous support you have given me. I have just had the first smoke from my first grow. She was a blueberry, and it was better than anything i have had before. A big thank you to you all.

Its a new diet lol, What is the best way to store bud?.

David … love your new fruit diet! I stored my weed in plastic baggies last year (I only had about 6 oz). I don’t think that’s the best way to go. I’m using mason jars this year. Also, Garrigan recommended putting one of those humidity pack things you can get at a smoke shop for cigars in the jar to keep it from drying out.

After the the paper bags go to mason jars and open twice daily for about two weeks then you can store then in the jars. Hope this helps you David.
Yes. I forgot to mention that Thank you MT. Ya those little white moister packets you can buy at your local smoke shop you cAn put one in each jar.

If you go to www.bovedapacks.com they are the manufacturer for the humidity packs and yes, they come in several different moisture levels. I used to use them all the time when I smoked cigars. You can get them cheaper on line at some places, but the information is great on the site.

On boveda’s website they state that the 62% packs are made specifically for cannabis
I was just talking to a fellow biker at our HOG meeting last night that grows vegetables and fruit in his hydro farm. He can’t smoke pot, gives him an allergic reaction (THAT SUCKS!) but he is about the ultimate hydrogrower! He had heads of lettuce that are like a basketball ! He still grows tomatoes and some stuff in the soil (tastes better according to him and I agree) and used to grow MMJ for a friend that had cancer. Wish I knew he was into growing then, the pictures of his blackberry made me drool, 18" long and big around as diameter of a beer can. He said they were rock hard nugs that his friend went crazy over. He told me that his friend smoked on a single bud for over two or three weeks and still had some left.
Anyway, I am thinking about doing hydro and he will help me set up the whole thing. The whole set-up should cost me about $500. He knows where I can get a 100 gallon tank for free. That is a bit big but we are going to cut it down and make two tanks and have grow pipes between the tanks that we may put some of the bushier species. I want to grow 5 WW, 3 Strawberry Kush, two Super Silver Haze and 2 Blueberry fem. An even dozen plants. That ought to keep me happy and should last me for as long as I have left. As soon as we get started with the tank, I am going to order the seeds from Robert. Hope we can make it happen. That will be my last grow if the doctors are right.
