First time grower. Plants are about done all auto flower. All organic grow. Heard different theories on flushing or not flushing. Thoughts? All replies greatly appreciated.
I grow all organic and never flush anything, well except for the toilet
The only thing âflushingâ does is save on your nutes. There are no benefits for the plants.
Lmao @MeEasy
thinking about it I guess I do flush in a way
I top dress for the last time like a 4-6 weeks before they are done, I only feed my plants 2-4 times throughout a grow
Thatâs organic though ayye⌠and there are still nutes in the soil. To a degree âthis is the wayâŚâ thatâs the process. Just let it ride out⌠makes me question what the op means by flushing if it does it naturallyâŚ
flushing in the traditional way serves no real purpose, other than conserving your nutes. Which is fine, Iâm just saying it doesnât effect the outcome of the final product. The fade is still something to behold, but unnecessary.
Flushing is more geared towards heavy âsaltâ users. Trying to load the plant past its absorption point. If not flushed you can produce some real shitty weed. The weed that simply wonât burn in a pipe due to all the chemicals remaining.
We grow 100% organic in living soil. Only feed with top dressing and freshly brewed teas. I feed a tea about once per week. Other than that itâs only water. The last week or so I skip the tea and run only water.
All the living organisms in the soil are making nutrients consistently. The worms are munching on the decaying cover crop and are producing worm castings. Overtime creating an all natural worm casting teat within the soil.
There is already enough nutrients stored in the soil to make it to the finis at this time. Plus it gives me alittle extra time to prep the drying area.
Awesome post!
I wont grow anything but organic. Is it me or can you smoke someone elses bud and can tell if its an organic grow or not ?
