If it as autoflower seed close to the same timeline. If its a photo seed it will only flower once its light cycle is flepping to 12 hours a day

If you flip the rooted top at same time as the mother then yeah pretty close.
Clones can show variations of all kinds, even switching sex though extreme variations are extremely rare, it’s usely not much if any, visual apears is the only real difference I’ve seen in clones from mother.
I had a goldleaf rooted 4 branch and the top, all finished about the same time but the top was completely different color buds :man_shrugging:

I would keep the clone. Flip mom and see how she does. Allow clone to veg and take hold. At this time you will know if mom is good enough to carry on. So that before you flip the clone, you may take another clipping if you want to continue that strain.

Hard to guess but 2weeks maybe less or more :man_shrugging:
Depends how long it takes to root really I’d think.

I took some cuttings about 2 weeks ago and put them in damp ProMix with some rooting powder. They all rooted. At New Years, I plan on flipping the mothers, and if I’m not allowed to set up another area for vegging, I’ll add the clones back in and flower them at the same time. Done it before, can make cute storyboards from them!
