Live and learn, you’ll get it right. No fertilizer til at least 4 to 6 weeks and going strong, only do 1/4 to 1/2 dose suggested.
I am no expert as I am on my first grow and still learning from my mistakes, but would have to agree that our fellow growers on this site can offer some great advise.
Sorry to hear that man. As many of the more knowledgeable people have spoken, I will add is the most basic, common sense thing I’ve read and learned here since I joined this forum is…marijuana is called “weed” for a reason. They will grow if you do your stuff right. I think you over-loved yours, which definitely sucks but I’d try the seeds again and give the guys here a chance to mentor you as you go/grow. Tons of helpful people and advice on this forum.
@Bobbysmen Sorry your plants had such a short life. This is why I wont buy seeds yet. Although I have had 3 successful harvest and on my 4th grow now I don’t feel I am good enough to buy high quality seeds. Do a lot of reading as you grow it helps you know when things just don’t look right and you can always post a picture on the forum and ask for help. It gives you a better chance at a successful grow. People on here are great help. Thanks to them I see why my plants were kinda sadly. Temps too high, not checking ph etc. Youll learn a lot here.
Yea actually got the ducting today and I ordered a filter as well. I got some more nutes and ph up/down. Waiting on my ph and tds meters as well. I think I got about everything I need. I got 3oz off the 3 plants I harvested and they’ve been curing about a week in jars. Took a small sample and gotta say taste was pretty damn good.
That’s the cool thing about this forum. Everyone here wants everyone else to succeed. There’s always someone here anytime of the day. No question is stupid. As soon as you think you’ve got a problem as you can see we will try our best to give you or tag someone that can help.
Wish you a happy grow!
Hi @BudBuddy , don’t give up , please give it another try , I would start a grow journal as soon as you start to germinate , I’m also a newbie and my girl’s just started flowering and that only because of all experienced growers on this forum who have answered every question or concerns I’ve had along the way . every single person on here are here to help and are extremely patient . Posting pictures will help the more experienced growers see things in your plant that you’ve never even noticed . NEVER GIVE UP !!

No worries. I will have to try to get a thread going here so people can help me figure out everything we need to monitor so we can create a excel spreadsheet with formulas. When that happens then request a tag.
Thanks. !! Ill keep my eyes out for you .

@Donaldj I wasn’t beating him up I stated that
Merely pointing out it was a issue he did or created
I know you’ll get him on track I just wanted to be clear
And yes I agree it suck to loose plants after investment of time and $
And @Bobbysmen hope you didn’t take it that I was beating up on you either
Those who know me know I’m a helpful guy so I do apologize if I came across a little blunt it wasn’t my intention
Loving the show of support people all good @Countryboyjvd1971 I just know as do you how fast a thread can go sour if us senior members rush to defence of site and seed bank. Also wanted to point out we can be myself as well pretty blunt in our replies
Well said @Donaldj
Happy growing CB
I can get defensive when it comes our beloved site a seed bank as well lol
Hey @Bobbysmen, I have a question for you… you said that you got the started pack right? Were you using the “start” nutes that come in the starter pack??? Because if so, I just learned the other day that it is not supposed to be used for soil growers. I was using it on my babies the first week and was informed not to. Thank god I stopped because one of my seedlings got some nute burn on one of her leaves that I had to clip off. Since I stopped using the start, they have doubled in size. I only ask cause I noticed that nobody has mentioned that yet.
Yeah I used it thinking I was helping now finding out I was hurting
Yea, don’t use that. I did the same thing.
@Sharkslayer @Bobbysmen I think I stated that the term veg is pretty loose as far as a timeline soil is quite different from hydro and some nutrients added at start in hydro don’t fly in soil which almost always has some base charge of nutrients. There are some products that can be added at start but learning the natural way your ladies start is important before playing with the products Most recommend 4th node starting very light but sprouts and seedlings have stored energy to get themselves started I prefer to start plants under dome with a t5 no nutrients (that I will tell you about) until you know what is normal
I water once and simply leave dome closed until they have several nodes
At first transplant I add Myko and water in it’s new pot then slowly adjust them to drier air once used to air I intro them to more intense lights at a distance judging when to water by weight of pots.
It can take a week for pots to need watering again which I why I love reg and fem seeds I can transplant several times since I transplant several times the soil is less and dries faster this means I also get to add fresh soil which has nutrient charge at each transplant. I actually don’t need to feed for nearly first 5 weeks unless I am pushing them
