Third time is a charm?

3rd grow in a year. This time I am using fabric pots and only RO water. I am happy with these changes. These girls are Auto Critical Orange Punch by Dutch Passion. They are now at 8 weeks. Lighting is 20/4 as Dutch Passion says this strain thrives on 20 hours of light a day.

Looking forward to the flowers filling in. There are many. This ought to be good.

I hope they don’t get much taller as I am running out of vertical space.

I would use lst on the tall portion. Have tou topped at all?

I have not trimmed them at all. I will lst the tops a bit today. Stems are pretty firm. I’ll see what I can do.

Thanks

It may be tough @ this point. Have you considered a scrog? I used one for the first time last grow & love it!! Opens everything up & get more buds. Also trying supper cropping next grow during veg. Youll be amazed @ the growth.

I’ll need to learn more about both of those procedures. Do they work with autos? That is what these are.

At least this solves my height problem.

A acrog works well with autos. All youre doing is weaving the tops thru to help with height. I only grow photos so not sure if you can supper crop autos or not.

suggest you add a little more nitrogen

Will do. I was thinking the leaves could be darker green. Just afraid to burn the leaves.

Thanks

Yup a dab more N would go a long way towards darkening those leaves. But youre into flower so be gentle. And nice lst job. I wouldnt supercrop the autos this far along. But the scrog suggestion was solid. Maybe an experiment for next round. All in all beautiful ladies

Thank You

I don’t think you should have bent those colas down. It seems to be really far into flower for that big of a change.

How long has she been in flower? The stretch maybe over. But the apical (top bud) dominance thing may still apply to bud development. Should increase hormones (and size, density, quality) of everything that thinks its a top

I’m new still so I’m not so much stating the facts, but more the less voicing an opinion in hopes of learning something. But MYSELF should assume that since she is so far along in flower that there won’t be any shoots that come off that cola. Maybe I’m wrong lol

Nah. Wont add anymore ‘vegetative’ growth. No new shoots. But the hormone i mentioned is real and should help bud development. It is a ‘herm’ risk at the new stress so far along. But no skin breaking or super trauma, and she should be just fine (and stay a she)

Btw always take my advice with a grain of salt. We are all here to learn man
