The ongoing recreational grow but not the first grow

Hey all, it’s the first recreational grow in Michigan, even though there are several strains for migraines. I’m still working towards my medical card.
Here’s the list of strains happening:
ILGM
1 super Lemon Haze
2 Maui Wowie (because that its awesome)
1 Afghan
1 Blueberry auto
1 Fire OG
1 Cindy Haze (non ILGM)
6 more will be added in a few weeks, of yet to be decided strains.
The lighting is the cutter strips 3000K 90CRI in the beginning, when large enough they’ll be placed in the 4x4 tent with Rapid LED CXB 3590 3000K 90CRI COB’s.
Fox Farms Ocean Forest will be the medium.

All of these strains I have not grown before so we will learn together. These plants are established, so we will be fast forwarding a bit.

Looking forward to it. Is the medical card something you you get to grow, smoke, both? What’s the lab?

image “27x27” for veg, 4x4 tent for flower.
These should move everything quite nicely.

Anyone who says this light is too much for a small tent would be right! But that’s the way I like it.

@Sixpackdad I am eligible for a medical card, I’m in the process of getting one, but this will fall under the new recreational law until I get the medical card. The plant count limits for medical and recreational are the same amount. (12) I started growing for my migraines, and cannabis has been the only prevention of them, opposed to big pharma just treating them as they occur.

Bergmans’ lab is highly recommended. This journal was started in the lab, and I’m posting a less detailed version over here. I am no expert by any means, but have learned a lot on the lab side. It’s educational and fun, but with a lot more benefits than on the free side. (Think you get what you pay for and then some) I was encouraged to post my journal here to benefit other people just starting their grow. I admit I’m still new to growing cannabis, it helps I have a green thumb. I’ve read a lot, with some experience now, and feel more comfortable offering advice.

This is the Runt Maui Wowie she hung in there, but she was slow to get started. She had a dome over her for the longest.

Curious, what did that slab of sheet metal cost you used for the strips? Is it something you got cut to order, DIY?

Purchased locally. I think it was about $40. Yes it was a DIY. I had a little help. @Sixpackdad

The rest of the crew, and the runt.

Looks like everyone is doing well. Blueberry Auto is shooting pistils out like crazy. She definitely is the greenest of them all, and does not need extra nitrogen. I’ll try and give her a boost of PK next feeding.
The runt is starting to take off, almost time for a transplant… Cindy found a little bit of extra
Nitrogen so she has greened up a bit, I’ll try and give her a little extra when they need more water.

Blueberry Auto is starting to show some frost, not really visible on camera, but visible to the eye. I’ll have to try a better picture.
