Hi all you guys and girls.
What an adventure I have had. The reason I am writing this is because if you have a look at the end of my latest posts on the grow thread I had basically given up on three og kush growing in coco that I had overwatered so much they might aswell have been in an aquarium.
They were small and got gnats it was all over I flushed them with crud etc.
I researched and researched wtf was I doing wrong. After two months of em being under a 600 watt one had died like a spikey haired crusader all the leaves pointing upwards and drying up. I ordered more seeds from ilgm about two months ago and as soon as I had these up and going was gonna dump the last two. Well I kept them going well just cause I had a feeling/and had become rather attached too the two three month old plants that had stalled. I was trying everything. Drip to waste method etc.NOTHING NADA they were pale as and I was beginning to get disgruntled. Was feeding them four times during lights on period but fwark all growth.
My other seeds didn’t turn up and the resend still hasn’t turned up which in itself was starting to make me very anxious and chitty.
Was I not a keen grower. Had invested a chit load of money on lights fans foods blah blah blah. ph testers etc etc omfg each week I was parting with cash for stuff not too mention the electricity and angry mrs telling me our eleci bill had gone up fifty per cent. I’m sure there are those out there that are feeling my pain.
Anyway the only reason I kept these plants alive and kept trying was cause my others hadn’t turned up. Anyway smoking some weed a mate grew outdoors meh not the best but not bad nice and natural and good enough. Out of a whole ounce found one seed. Thought fwark it ill try and grow this little thing. Put it in water three days later nothing the curse of Dr Smeg continues. Five days later nothing. Seven days later I glance at the glass and wat the fwark but a really thick tale so I put it in a plug. Went and bought a grow mat and put it under the two flouros I bought from the hydro store.
One day through too about five and no growth it was in a humidifier. Then day six there it was a loan soldier. Careful not too overwatered it was repotted in a way too hot potting mix :(.
In the mean time the other two plants had been repotted four times and were seriously really pale green but not dieing or getting any bigger just hanging in there about four inches tall in 15 l pots in coco…getting fed three times a day with flushes etc. My mates seed started too grow and within two weeks was repotted in some decent soil canna professional potting mix for the aussies out there bloody expensive fourty bucks a 50l bag. And put out in the garage with the other two.
Now in the mean time regarding the other two I had decided that ffs something was afoot in tullerook . So I had decided that I needed too add some cal mag and after more research found out that when growing in coco you need too add cal mag supplements. Plus I wasn’t happy with the food I was giving the little ones three months old and six nodes high and crawling under 600 watts WTF IS UP WITH THAT CHIT. So started talking with the mofo in the hydro shop and he gave me some food too give em with instructions etc.
Anyway I asked for some of those measuring droppers, the ones with five ml ten ml fifteen ml twenty ml etc. He said what these ones I’m like yeah bro that’s it. He says they are .5 1.0 1.5 2.0 mls. I have never been that embarrassed.
FOR TWO MONTHS I AM WATERING THE FWARK OUT OF THES PLANTS WITH ONE TENTH THE FOOD THAT IS RECOMMENDED. DRIP TOO WASTE ETC IM LOOKING AT PHOTOS ON THE NET OF PLANTS TWO WEEKS OLD BIGGER THAN THESE THREE MONTH YEAR OLDS.
At least the stems were massive cause of the fan on them.
SERIOUSLY PLEASE DO LAUGH AT ME BUT FIRST GROW. ONE MIL LOOKED LIKE TEN WHO AM I TOO KNOW.
So guys too cut a longer story shorter, I gave the kushies a full feed with some cal mag. Came back the next day hmmm they were green and a looking better. Fed them again the next night and same result. That was two weeks ago. Strange those top leaves are looking bigger.
So on Saturday I repotted my mates out door seed and put in the big grow box.
After two weeks of feeding the kushies three times during lights on using drip too waste method in coco all I can say is WTF. Checked on them ten minutes ago the big one has grown at least three cms today and put on girth. The little one is really putting in an effort two. Well two feeds and one flush.
And now that they are growing I have too say THEY ARE THE MOST AMAZING LOOKING PLANTS I HAVE EVER SEEN. BUEATIFUL BRIGHT GREEN LEAVES THAT ARE SO THICK LICKS LIPS. SERIOUSLY COMPARED TOO THE NORMAL PLANT IN THERE YOU CAN REALLY SEE THE DIFFERENCE THESE THINGS TOO LOOK AT ARE AMAZING. YOU CAN REALLY TELL THEY ARE SOMETHING SPECIAL.
The amount of stress ive put these things through I wouldn’t be surprised if they go hermie but too be honest I have learnt so much all trial and error and info on this site and others.
THE MORAL OF THE STORY
EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON…THESE TWO PLANTS WOULD HAVE BEEN DUMPED AND I WOULD HAVE MADE THE SAME MISTAKES AGAIN HAD I RECIEVED MY SEEDS. THE ILGM TEAM HAVE BEEN FANTASTIC AND WHAT CAN I SAY. (GUYS STILL NO SEEDS POKE*) BUT I CANT RECOMMEND THEM HIGHLY ENOUGH AND REALLY THESE TWO PLANTS HAVE REALLY BEEN PUT TOO THE SWORD. ITS WINTER HERE AND IT DROPPED BELOW ZERO THE OTHER MORNING ASWELL.
