The Gelato Green Crack Trainwreck

This grow is Ilgm Gelato and green crack. Plus 2 peyote critical and one trainwreck from another breeder. The white 45 gallon drum contains P.Critical beside it is Gelato. The green crack is in the corner and has been topped twice. The trainwreck sits by herself. They are all appx 27 days from germ. and all have been topped some twice. I will have them all LST/lay every branch/ cola flat in 2 wks. I don’t use a screen to keep em flat I just tie them down to side of the grow container and let em rip. I broke The Gelato twice after topping so I superglued the branches back together and it worked well. I use super glue to mend my bushes from pruning and mistakes lol. This is first grow with T5 bulbs and they definitely defeat any full spec LED grow light or cfl light I’ve used. 46,000 metered flux ! from one 8 bulb light. It draws 485 watts which, with lst or sog etc yield can double the expected yield per watt. There is NO set yield per watt when growing, it can all be manipulated to growers benefit. Anyhoooo here’s pics of 27 day old plants. I won’t switch them to flower until the 8-9 wks. Plenty of time to get em spread out. I think it’s around 6 wks that photos begin producing thc in a measurable amount so I’ll turn them after that. No rush cuz no market just my lungs lol

Thanks bro. Organic soil and rain water and mostly the genetics. Where and who we buy seeds from really matters if you want healthy plants that , Id rather f#$ up a healthy plant lol instead of wondering wtf is wrong with my plants the entire grow from poorly developed genetics. Stick around I’m sure to do something to them that causes frustration lol

This is the Gelato I split nearly in three. Quick mend with super glue , the plants growth didn’t appear to be effected by the split. The other lady is Green crack and I can’t believe the girl has started developing sets of fan leaves with 15 and 16 fingers ! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:I’ve never seen more than 13 fingers on a fan leaf. I’m amazed at her. They are all at 29 days now from germ. Started some heavy LST today that’s when I noticed the fan leaves on the gc. They are jammed in under each other. Ilgm seed :ok_hand:t4:

those are really nice!

Thanks bro. This grow has affirmed for me that who I purchase seeds from definitely matters. These were seeds from ILGM and the peyote critical ppl…I’ve had a 70% germ rate with other seeds and struggling growth but not with these golden egg seeds lol. Oh yeah I forgot 100 % germ too.

Idk what’s going on with her. I know have a fan with 17 fingers and what looks like 2 more that may be to still show themselves to make 19 smh. Ya think if it is a clone , should I do any particular pruning or is that a no no with a plant like her ?

All these girls are about 33-35 days from germ and one transplant at 2 wks into current containers. The first pic is the Gelato and the glue repair. This girl didn’t miss a beat. Easy plant to train. Second set is the Peyote critical before and after I lay the branches over some more and tie them down

The first fan leaf is a 15 finger the other 2 pics are a 17 finger fan leaf. The leaf is still young and may get a swallow tail set to finish it at 19 smh. It’s Green crack I haven’t done much training on her yet.

It’s official the green crack has a fan with 19 fingers plus numerous 16-18 fingered fans . Does this mean she’s going to be a sock knockeroffer ? Idk my luck it start sprouting acorns or something lol pic to follow when I take the leaf it’s so twisted up and double leafs it’s hard to make out in picture but will post one ASAP. Anyone else have experience with fan leafs like these ?

@Zsitchin wow man! :astonished: I can’t wait to see pics of them flowered and ready for harvest… Nice work bro… The fact that you’re using just t5 is even crazier. Why the heck am I thinking about investing in a ridiculous grow light if you can do this with a t5?
Nice job mate :muscle:

Thanks brother I’m learning all the time. Oh yeah Lol I did invest in several led full spec lights and although they produce weed and in some cases produced some great weed with abundant yields, none of them that I’ve tried can compete with this 8tube T5 it came with 8-6500k tubes which I’ll change from the 6500k it came with to tubes ranging from 2700k-5000k @ about $7 dollars a tube with 20,000 hrs run time. It cost less than my 2200 watt equiv actual its draw is 485watts. T5 runs cooler than my LEDs too I’m able to keep temps at precisely 82degs day 64-66 degs lights off. You could fit a 4ft 8 tube t5 in your tent for $131.00 some are less

First pic is Trainwreck and that’s what it looks like too lol. The second is the freaky fanned ilgm GreenCrack. I attempted to fim her and that may be what has given her 15-19 fingered fan leaves on one side only. Smh idk but I’ll take it and I’m going to preserve the one 19 leaflet fan lol :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:. Third pic is ilgm Gelato. It has about a 38” print and is 14” avg height. One of the easiest and most forgiving plants to train I’ve ever grown. Last pic is Peyote Critical with a 40” diameter and 16” high. It has an 8tube T5 light over gelato and peyote and CFLs over Trainwreck and GreenCrack. I’ve got quantum boards Older LEDs new gen LEDs 600w hps/mh , what’s called High bay ufo industrial LED lights etc but the best and most effective light I’ve used is this T5 and CFLs. I believe I can get 8-12 ozs from the CFLs over the GreenCrack and Trainwreck and double that from the T5. Using side lighting on an untrained plant does improve yield helping the lower bud sites to develop into larger buds without the top having to share what it receives. I’ve heard side lighting is not necessary nor effective well, I say horsecaca why use wall reflectors if side lighting is unimportant ? I say it greatly improves yield etc on an untrained conventionally shaped plant. Day 40 from seed I usually wait until 8wks+ to flower them but the T5 has sped things up that I’ve started reducing the light from 20 on by 2hrs every other day. I’m running out of expansion room lol. Let’s see what I screw up during flowering :alien:

Awesome looking plants bro. I have a ILGM Gelato grow going as well. Plants are very strong and healthy, heavy stems. I’m very interested in the results of the grow as far as potency and taste. Do you know if it’s the same genetics from Cookie Farms in Cali of If Bergman took mint GSC and Sunset Sherbet and made his own strain? That was my big question and if the quality would be as good or better. I don’t think anyone on here has a full grow and harvest with IGLM Gelato yet.

The first 2 in the front are Gelatos at 7 and 8 weeks. Heavy foliage and very green. Genetics are amazing. I’m looking to flip soon.
