My RH is about 38% right now and unless it rains, it should stay that way. Am hoping to get the protective effect of the trichomes from the cold water, low RH and decreasing the temp in the grow area.

My young apprentice has thrown more trichomes all over her. They are getting fatter and taller all the time. I checked and teh pot is almost half dry (by weight) and I will water in the AM tomorrow.
My new filter is keeping the smell down to nothing until I open the grow box, then the whole room smells in seconds.
Gonna get some more pics tonight and post them in the AM. My son and I spent 8 hours cleaning my garage. So tired I can hardly stay awake now.

Good Morning all ! Checked on my young Jedi this morning and she continues to work hard at making the biggest buds she can. Photo proof to follow. Her trichomes are fattening and lengthening overnight. I am standing here looking at her in awe. This is without the nicest buds I have grown yet. Almost all are longer than a 20 oz soda bottle and growing.
Top view of another bud. Are looking good, it is all I can do to not harvest now !

There are several others that have the same or better appearance. I am happy with her growth so far and hope it continues for another 10-14 days. I am only putting one picture at a time so it can be clicked on to look at the trichomes easier. For the last week, I have shown a different bud every day.
I canât wait for harvest. I have no smoking stash left but am not going to give in to the urge to pick some early. Want the best I can get for this grow. I almost get high just opening the door and smelling the growing plant !
@MAXHeadRoom My biggest problem now is WHICH BUD to submit to the BOM ! Another one of those problems that is nice to have.
Master Yoda is even getting anxious to see what this young Jedi will do. He has high hopes for her and for maintaining the power of the Force.

When taking a picture for the BOM, you can get a black or white piece of paper and use that for a background. This makes your bud the focal point of the picture. You can also use flashlights and other lighting to create a better picture

Just got to look at my lady at 2:00 pm after my grandsonâs soccer game. Was windchill of 29 and I am frozen
! checked her weight and she is still got lots of water. Tomorrow is most likely the last time I will feed her. After this, have to watch her trichomes closely. I think I saw a few that are changing to cloudy. May not be long before I harvest.
Gonna glam her up for her B.O.M. pictures. Have many to choose from on this plant that are nice looking. Want to get the best pic for her portrait ! lol
I want to give her a good starving at the end with only water and make her use up all the nutes I have been supplying. Also may try to lower temp in grow box and see if trichomes increase.
Now it is time to watch some Playoff Hockey ! Watching the Avs and Predators. My team (Stars) didnât make it but I still love playoff hockey.

@MAXHeadRoom Where can I find something on what is the best time to split the stem and how to do it? I only looked in passing before but I understand it can really make a difference.

Thanks Brother. I have lost my copy of the Grow Bible so will download it again. I looked in all the bolg and guide articles and did not find it. I thought it would be there. It doesnât seem to be on other sites that I looked at either.

Brrrrrrr. Opened the door today and it is a wind chill of 29 ! All my outdoor plants are in bad shape. Oh well, back to the drawing board. Tried to tell the wife it was too early to put them outside but you know who won that argument.
My lady is looking frosty and delicious this AM. She is just begging to be harvested but I do not see what I want yet, cloudy and some amber trichomes.

Drilling them was really easy and took less than a minute to do both of them. Then I stuck a skewer through the hole I drilled.

Did you find drilling to be better than splitting? I know it would be easier, but were the effects different?

I only just drilled them yesterday. Iâm going out of town for 3 days and will harvest next week. Iâll post my results and get some side by side photos of before and after. Have a great Sunday everyone!
