I know ! It has been MANY years since I have seen him. He was going through my home city and decided to look me up. I guess that proves the saying âonce a friend. always a friendâ. Same with my friends from home. Sure was nice to see Andy, I havenât seen him since we got back from Desert Storm !

@MattyBear If you get the chance I definitely recommend Moon Rocks. It gives me a really nice high that lasts a long time.

I had to hurry last night to get my entry in as it was just about lights out. My desktop computer is in the grow area and my laptop is getting fixed. Aside from the buds worship last night (LOL) I fed her pretty much as I did 4 days ago. The trichomes are pretty clear but I am starting to get a lot of them and they are getting bigger stalks on them as well as the little mushroom head is getting bigger.
Feeding: Wasnât really planning on feeding last night but the chance presented itself and I took advantage.
2 gal pHâd water at 6.5 as a little flush - then the third gallon with nutes at 6.4 after adding : Sensi Bloom A & B 4ml; Golden Tree 3ml, Bloom 3ml. Adding the extra water to flush before each feeding is making a difference I believe. I started doing that several grows ago and now do it all the time. It allows me to keep fresh nutes in the growing pot. The burn in the leave tips is gone and she appears happy. The CFL has definitely slowed down the growth but no other choice.
Equipment replacement: New filter arrived at noon yesterday and my wife left the house last night to go to a meeting. Gave me time to get her out of the grow box and get the work done and some Bud Porn

@MattyBear Moon Rocks are kick-butt and you donât need a lot. I was shaving a little off a gram each day and one gram lasted me about 10-12 doses. One dose a day will keep me happy all day. I just put it as âdressingâ on a little leaf in my bowl and sit back and relax.
I am considering when to stop feeding her. Her little âbudletsâ are making an impressive showing but my yield is going to be a little smaller due to CFL vs LED. Such is life ! Going to have to research stem splitting and finishing techniques for her. Coming into the home stretch soon and do not want to FUBAR it now.
Any recommendations on something to give as a one dose booster at the end to get that last push out of the buds? I am figuring maybe two weeks after looking at the trichomes last night. Would welcome any and all input. I believe that time is getting short now.

I was just sitting here looking at the buds and when I joined ILGM I only dreamed of having buds like this and she is not done yet ! You can see the trichomes in this one when you zoom it (thatâs why I only put one picture at a time.

I like to click in and check it out ! Can see the heads of the trichomes and the shafts are getting fatter ! All really clear though. I canât see any cloudy or amber. If you do, let me know, my eyes ainât as sharp as they used to be ! lol

The only thing I can recommend is take care when you split her. Donât need blood all over your jedi!

Yes, I am going to put her in 48 hour darkness. Have to research the timing of the darkness and splitting the stalk. Also going to try something else on her after darkness, an ice water bath before harvest. Recommended for increasing trichomes. Canât hurt to try ! !
@MAXHeadRoom iâll have to check the timing of the B.O.M. and my harvest. I am going to try to increase my bud size before harvest. Never had anything good enough to enter in B.O.M. !! The switch to CFL from LED made me sad, I lost a lot of bud size I believe. It is still working but not quite at the same level as the LED. Maybe it is just me but it seems that is the case.

Iâll be interested in your opinion of the results. I wonder if there will be a noticeable difference visually? I bet it will affect taste if nothing more.

Another thing you can try is lowering your humidity. My last harvest, in my basement, I had very low humidity (20-30%) and I got monster trichomes.
