6 WAYS TO USE CINNAMON IN THE GARDEN
(Cinnamon powder)

#1. PROTECT SEEDLINGS

You can easily protect your seedlings from fungal diseases just by sprinkling some cinnamon onto the soil.

#2. HEAL PLANT WOUNDS

If a plant has been wounded for any reason, just sprinkle cinnamon directly onto the wound. Within a few days, your plant should be as good as new!

#3. FUNGICIDE

If your plants are suffering from any kind of fungus, cinnamon will fix that! Mix some powdered cinnamon with warm water and let it sit overnight. Strain the cinnamon-water into a spray bottle and spray directly over plants

#4. DETER ANTS

Ants hate the smell of cinnamon, so sprinkle it directly on an ant track or anywhere where you donā€™t want ants. This will stop them in their tracks and theyā€™ll never return again!

#5. KILL MUSHROOMS

Because mushrooms are a fungus and cinnamon is anti-fungal, itā€™s only natural that cinnamon will kill any mushrooms! Simply sprinkle some cinnamon onto the areas where mushrooms may grow and watch them never sprout back again

#6. PROPAGATE CUTTINGS

Wet the cutting in clean water and roll in cinnamon powder before planting. This will prevent disease, infection, and fungus, plus it will encourage faster, healthier growth!

Note- remember cinnamon itā€™s natural so it wonā€™t affect your plants

all righty then!

You can NEVER stop learning this shit! Itā€™s just too much to know. LoL - Iā€™m willing to bet that this is a known unknown among growers. Iā€™ll stick with the honey for brakes and snaps since I know it works but none the less great info sir, thank you for sharing.

Put together a simple grow rack

Includes-
1-Multi level metal rack
1-Small t5 lamp,was laying around-
1-Container
1-Mechanical timer

Advantages of a seed starting station

  • It is relatively inexpensive and usually pays for itself in a single growing season
  • Can be built in stages as budget permits
  • Is easy to set up and quickly converts to storage of seed starting equipment in the off-season
  • Is made with parts that are easily found locally at Lowes or Home Depot
  • Once built, parts are rarely replaced ā€“ giving a very long return on your initial investment
  • Is adjustable to raise or lower each shelf or each light individually

How to build your own seed starting station

The foundation of any seed starting system is the support structure that holds the lights above the seed trays, allowing them to move up and down over the young seedlings as they grow. Larger stations support the seed trays and heating mats, while simpler systems suspend the lights over any level surface.

For real, my Mom used to do gardening so sheā€™s been telling me about the old school remedies you know with out all the chemical and all that good stuff , if any of you do soil , my mom said that In The years she worked doing landscaping the most beautiful plants where at the slaughterhouse, know about blood meal and bone meal, she said that they would water the plants with the dirty water after the cleaning of the killings of the day , just interesting comment from my momma , yeah itā€™s good info , being able to help your plants even if your local shop is out . Thatā€™s being resourceful

Oooo nice , any other household items remedies are Always welcome!!! Iā€™m focusing in hydroponics , thinking about it ,there is Some Diy Ph up Ph Down, but yeah would be really interesting to hear about the ancient techniques.

Says only use cinnamon in veg. But I used it in the flower stage. Havnt tasted the bud yet!! It does drive them off though.

Ooo let us know about the end result , why you used it , bud rot ? @DivChem and how for reference. Thank you

Root bugsā€¦ Turn into gnats. Got some bad dirt, still paying the cost. The ILGM Bug Blaster works good as well. Also use yellow sticky paper wherever air isnt blowing directly on your plants.

Was spraying Mary and she showed me some leg

Seedlings and clones

Clones do not have their root system yet, so they depend on transpiration for their water. Therefore, they require high amounts of humidity, at least until they have fully formed roots. Many growers use a humidity dome to create an ideal amount of humidity for clones.

Clones like a high humidity

The ideal temperature for clones is between 68-77Ā°F (20-25Ā°C) with high humidity. At these temperatures, they should quickly form roots and become more self-sufficient. These temperatures are similar for seedlings.

Personally my main mistake is not being patient enough and letting the plant do itā€™s work

Took care of 97% of my issues. I spray some ILGM BUG BUSTER @ each watering on the soil. Pay attention to the side of the pot. After watering, lay your yellow sticky paper down. Only other thingā€¦ Always ALWAYS side on less water.
