The best way to store xtra seeds

New to IGLM but have had plants just for myself.
But how should I store seeds Gotten @ IGLM don’t want to do the wrong thing for my future yummies.
I’ve froze seeds before and planted and grew the next year.
Found some in a draw ( in back) a few seeds not sure how old they grew slowly at first , and did well.
I hope anyone can share their experience ,

I keep all my seeds in a cigar box placed in refrigerator.

I store them in the fridge in one of those bamboo sugar bowls but the cigar box is a great idea
