The beginning of my White Widow scrogged grow!

Finally the first set of 3 fan leaves is about to come out which means it’s starting to root ah little , now once the first set of fans leaves fully grow out to where you can count them which will most times be odd number 3 , than 5 , than 7 . Once the seven leaf node grow out just enough to start the 9 leaf node , I’m going to top the plant , and give it about 10 days to recover and start new growth . This also depends on lights and how intense your lights depending on speed in vegging , the more intense and stronger your light spectrum hitting the plant at the right height will cause vigorous , rapid development with at least 4 hours of darkness . So as of now just a few pointers for the newbies and those who have put a couple of small yields behind them , this scrog is just about getting started , Happy growing !!!

It’s ah lil late to really scrog it properly , but if you was to tie down those side shoots and get more light penetrating through the plant it will put on some massive wieght. I growed a blueberry out just like this , no training , no scrog , but did some trimming and it yielded 4.5 ounces for one plant . Now this is how you want to make sure you getting light penetrating , take your hand and place under the bottom of the plant and see how much light is reflecting off your hand , if you not getting a lot of light thru , than your lower branches will bud , but they won’t really put that bud porn wieght . So that’s when you start tying down the lower branches and trim a few leaves that’s over shadowing other leaves . Now don’t get cut happy , because your leaves are your light panels that makes the plant thrive . But trimming some can be a big benefit in the end . But if you wanted to scrog , before the main stalk stretched as it has in this photo , you want to keep it tucked under the screen so the plant lil side shoots would also start stretching to the light . But your plant is looking very good and it’s gone really put on some nice fat colas , but if you make a few adjustments , it would really pack some big sticky dense buds . But go to my last thread on "First time growing autos , Amnesia Haze and Blueberry and the second plant in some of the photos is the blueberry and you will know it , cause it looked just like your baby in this photo , but again my brother you doing a great job , and your next grow if you make some early adjustments , once you get to where you are now , instead of having like 11 budding flowers you will have like 20 or 30 bud colas , but keep up the good work and happy growing .

Hello growing friends , here with an update . My little seedling is almost ready for transplanting , she finally got out her first set of signature fans and starting on node two , I was kind of wondering there for a moment being its been a few months since I’ve started from seed . Well now it’s definitely starting to root and stretch ah little , so I’m going to let it grow another 2 nodes , which will be the seven leaf fan leaves and transplant it to its final pot it will finish in and give it time to recover and than I’ll start the topping to create the manifold main line . But I’ll post a picture of my little darling as she starts to grow . Now it’s under a CFL light at the moment and once I transplant I’ll turn on the Advance light only with just the veg switch on which is just the blue and white lights about 20% . So hopefully I can help some of you who are just starting to grow learn the process on how to grow from seed without stressing or burning your plants early in veg stage , which is very important for your harvest . The less stress a plant has the more it will yield I believe and if you give it the right environment and the right water and light you will have a great finish . So I like to thank the science officer and the head groundsman for being my mentor on how to grow the most beautiful plant I think to mankind . Happy growing and stay tune for more updates , this is just the beginning and we have another 15 weeks to go my friends .

Here she is and she looks to be doing good . I planned to keep everyone updated as the grow continues …

Nice progress yoshi. I got me 2 clones while I wait for my seeds. 1 Platinum Bubba Kush and 1 OG Cookies. Hope that they’ll be here soon they shipped March 9. I’m in California so I’m not sure about how they take to get here but it’s been bout 9 days so I’m excited. Anyways check the clones out.

Platinum Bubba Kush OG Cookies. Bout ready to top this one way u think?

The bubba Kush definitely I say yes , but the og it’s questionable since the stalk has not have much strength yet I’ll veg it another 2 weeks , and see if the stalk starts to thicken . But they look very healthy , so you doing good , now you can scrog the og Kush if you wanted to which would be a better training .

Ok I’ll top the Bubba Kush first thing in the morning and wait a little on the OG cookies. I gotta fan blowing on them building the stem strength. Thanks for input. And yea i do actually want to try and scrog them.

You still have time to scrog them , this would be a great time to start .

Sweet. So what’s next step after topping them yoshi?

Once you top it let the next nodes on each branch grow out its second set of signature fan leaves which should be the 5 leaf patter , once they grow out remove all foliage beneath the top after the topped nodes start growing it’s big fan leaves so the plant can absorb light . Than I’ll spread each stem apart and tie down slightly and let the plant curve and grow unto the light , which will give you a wish bone looking stalk , you follow me . This will give you a manifold topped plant with now 2 man branches instead of just one , than you can topped after the 3 node on the 2 nodes you created which should give you 8 colas , and than put it under a screen scrog and let it fill out until you scrogged is full and flip them into flower and watch the magic unfolds . Have seen the member Hillcrest grow on here ?

Yes I have seen hillcrest shits amazing. I definitely want to invest in a LED now. I’m Thinking of getting a platinum p600. do you know if that would be enough light for a 4x4x6.5 tent maybe 6 plants ?

I would say you might need 2 , but I seen another guy on here talking about a platinum P300 light , which there several brands to purchase now , but he also said it had a 5 year no hassle warranty . Myself I have an Advance LED light which has a 3 year no hassle warranty , and it’s one of the best I think , but my choice in that size tent would be 2 Diamond series XML 350 or 2 XTE Series 300 by Advance LED , but I’m not sure if the platinum light is better , could be I’m just not sure . But I run 2 led lights in a 2 x 2 x 6 an Advance XTE series 200 with a China brand 400 watt and now I’ve even added 2 CFL grow lights 125 watts on each side of the led , which should be interesting , but I don’t think one light will cover enough of 6 plants in flower , I believe you will need 2 at least in my opinion.

No i haven’t seen those or the advance LEDs. How are prices on the advanced leds

The one I want is about $1,000 bucks , the one I have I paid $539 plus tax , but I’ve had good yields itch just the one light .

But the Apache light I think is very kick ass light .
