I have a plant that has been exceptionally easy to grow in my climate and I am curious if there is any other magic tricks you masters know, beyond just leaving a couple of branches and as much stalk as possible then going back to 18 & 6 lightning and veg nutes? I will add she is extremely resilient and never flinched when topped either time nor during defoliation and mild lollipopping. Thanks for any input!

Thanks for the reply. Yes I agree. Unfortunately I don’t have the ability to do that this year and I am now at 4 weeks flowering. I have also considered using diluted colloidal silver on one branch to herm it there for seeds. What are your thoughts?

Weeks 2-4 cloning in flower is called monster cropping. It can be done .

Thanks , I believe you. It just can’t be done by me this season. I have no means to keep the clones alive until next season or to grow them indoors. I’m basically reduced to either re-vegging her in the house under regular house lights or herm a branch for seeds.

What’s your scenario @Shadegrown ? Is it an outdoor beast in ground or in a pot? Is it in a tent? How big is the container?
I am a fan of reveging plants. I like to take clones and keep them Bansai under dimish lights and small pots. Frequent root pruning and lollipop ping. If needed I can cut out a big beast from the pot or ground by root pruning. Then at harvest you leave a gram or two of larf and any bottom sun leaves. And flip it to 24 on. Once it reveged turn the lights down to 18 till spring or it’s up in the tent.
It usually takes 8-12 weeks to reveg a big plant. Seedlings and small clones usually just 3-4weeks FYI. Seems like a waste of time to me to not make seeds too. You are committed to the time on a reveg anyway.
Only twist is I like to Bansai seedlings and mate the males after sexing, then reveg the ladies loaded w seeds. Once ripe the seeds are harvested off the lowers and the tops have revegged. Seeds from the seedlings is my favorite winter activity….
I also like to pollinate the keeper clone ladies and reveg them loaded w seeds too. I end up with thousands of seeds. And the plants all reveg loaded w seeds. It’s like a winter indoor miracle.

Agreed, I love cloning flowering. Learned it and on some it works. Other get smoked or tossed.

No chemicals. I like to collect male pollen and then make my own seeds, when needed.

ILGM seeds started me into this year 2023.

They reveged while I was gone this summer.
Amazing. This is a reveg plant, from 5/2023 and now one month into flower and tent.

So mad thanks @noddykitty1 and @DEEPDIVERDAVE for the responses. I have a 5 foot tall 4 foot wide outdoor plant in a 5 gallon fabric bag. I agree with both of you that I should have already taken a clone, but didn’t know what to do with it until next season. I can put one in my room under the blue led I used for her as a seedling or I can put her back under it or a standard bulb. Unfortunately, at least for a couple more months, I have no means to do much else. I had heard about spraying the silver, but don’t actually have any and not sure I could get it right now. I am open to whichever route you think is best. Take a clone or re-vegging. Today she is 17 weeks and 4 weeks flowering. I’ll be taking some birthday pics and will post one later today here. Thanks again y’all, I knew the masters would show up!

Ok, I’m on it. I will take a cutting today and try to root it using honey, as I have no rooting solutions. I will pot it in a small pot with the left over FF ocean forest soil. I’ll keep it in my room under the blue led and regular bulb on 24 hour light until I see it grow and then switch to 18/6 until spring. Anything else or just pull the rip cord on 10? Thanks for knowing the thought of being a chicken would set me to action!

Aloe plant method was interesting reading.
Solo cup, clear inside red bottom cups and matching clear Domes on top.
Awesome plant. Harvest slowely, a cola at a time, holding for end of season.
Outdoor plants can benefit from wash routine.

Those two flowering clone plants I pictured today are 2 of 3 corners utilized in my 4x4, under the Mother. The oscillating tower fan has the 4th corner.
Clone Dome Farm is outside for summer in lowest light place in yard, not under Blackberries or grapes.

The others have you set. I was just scrolling to say that if you can reveg a plant indoors you can certainly clone a plant indoors. Do yourself a favor and take more than one clone. Even those that are very good at cloning can lose a couple here and there.

Back in the 70-80’s everybody said, just cut and stick in dirt.
That never worked for me. Finally, I found cut and stick in water (Michelob bottle) method working for me. Then I was hooked., many a clone later (two years later) I moved a dozen clones 2000 miles. They survived the trip, but not the fire (LSS-No more).
1000 tries may not work, but just one did and now, we all know Thomas Edison.
A no cost (haha) opportunity.
