I have room not tent growing autos and would like any inputs

Assume you are going LED? Shop for lights built with Samsung LM301 series diodes. Stay away from anything that has a purple color to it, has integrated fans, or veg/bloom switches.

The hlg 350r is suppose to replace the 600 HPS. I switched to it from a cmh 315. It’s a beast of a light. I have a 2x4 tent, and it’s plenty for 2 plants. In fact I have to be careful not to get foxtailing from light intensity.

You may want to look at a build you own kit from HLG. This will allow you to remote mount the driver outside your grow room. Going to a LED and remote driver would be like night and day as far as the heat output from the HID.
You may want to brush up on the signs of LED light burn very different from HID burn.

I would prefer to use light systems that dont rely on fans, if the fan breaks, the lamp will die not long after. If you can find ine that uses large heat sinks that is preferable. My Fluence spydr is one such lamp, but there are better options now at a way cheaper price.

Any names for these better cheaper lights would be much appreciated
So many options out there. One of the member here turned me onto Grow Light Science. I wanted bar lights. Using 2 640s in a 4x8. Really your use is just as important as the light. Your space you’re using it in. Whats the area and how many plants you trying to grow?

HLG are the sorta go to light, mid priced, well built. You can also look into building your own from parts, extruded aluminum, a power supply, and light strips with some wire… you can buy kits. Samsung diodes seem to be the industry standard, but there are numerous options. Just look it up. Home build LED grow lights… should get a few hits.

So i have 2 tsw2000 mars upgradded 2022 lights. I added 2 blurple “600 watt” veg bloom switch lights i added lol is that ok ? Sonce i only added them as extra during flower?

Thanks for reply tryn to do 8 auto bubba kush at moment about 3x6 in old bathroom using 600w mh x2 plenty for space but temp is too high

Im sure youll be happy with any LED upgrade. (upgrade being the key. Dont go cheap.) Like @Cannabian said, check out some kits
