I don’t know what to do really. I thought it was bc of the light so I moved it to the very top the temp is 70-85 rh is 40-65 I think it’s the water bc I might’ve made it a little too acidicy so the next time I water I plan on using jus normal water see what they do we are a 3 days away from being 1month old. Ps Are we in veg now? What should I do to make them grow faster and unstunt the one
Definitely in veg my freind
They do not look to bad really so well done so far.
Welcome to the group also, you found the best one to get real help without BS
But what you mean ny maybe to acidic?
PH is extremely important for growing cannibus in most cases. With living soils ph isn’t so much important, but any other methods it’s most always important.
Do you have a ph pen of some sort?
I do not have a ph pen. I didn’t know those existed. What I mean is by too acidic is like I have a jug of tap water and I use this ph down bottle thing and ph water testing drops so the water changes colors. green is like6.7-6.4 and i thought that maybe if I made it yellow they’ll like it more that’s like 6.0-5.7 maybe 5.5 and Ik it’s taboo but Um I’m using miracle gro soil in a 2 gallon pot. The reason for the pot is bc they are runtz auto and it said compact that means small right? But I’ve started to see these spots come in and I topped three bc the other one was growing slower thn the rest I jus recently top the slower one after I seen 4 set of nodes and now it’s like she is stuck in time. Also I see that their leaves curl up and down I’m lost. P.s I learnt we do not take outside soil and put it inside. I had to do an early transplant. I was very careful though to not hurt them.
The strips sometimes work ok for people but unless you got a really good microbial life going in the soil, we really need to be pretty accurate with ph.
If you can afford a good one $50 or more they are worth it just being water proof
But a cheap $10 one is better then none, just dont drop it in the bucket cuz it will fry quick
Ebay, Amazon, or any local hydroponics shop would have them.
Your plants don’t look bad but possibly some things going on related to ph but it’s no big deal yet, your girls will be fine, get a pen and carry on with ph going in between 6.2 and 6.8 with 6.5 being the sweet spot but ya dont have to hit it exactly useing ph up and down back and forth.
People will give you crap of that miracle grow
But I’ve used it to just fine
Oooo ok thank you I knew I was doing something wrong. I will get me a ph pen like you suggested YouTube can only teach me so much. When I post again in a few weeks will you be able to look at the results to guide me some more?
So miracle gro is ok. I asked about it and some people got mad at me I was really confused
Why sure my freind, theres many others around here to so if i can’t someone will.
Your awesome bro thanks a lot
Well miracle is not really ideal for cannabis. It has alot if nitrogen in it some being time released.
And where we have to feed at the end it can be tricky balancing things right. It also doesn’t drain to good and compacts easily…
But it can be used, there are many better options though fir sure…
Oh I don’t know if you can tell but the second picture is the one that is stunted her nodes are so small still while her sisters are getting bigger
What kinda light you have and how big of tent?
You’re going to need to let them adjust to the MG soil. They can be difficult to grow in MG soil due to the fact they cannot be flushed. So if you get a toxicity you have to let the plant deal with it. Flushing it will cause more harm.
That’s really why MG is looked down on in the cannabis world. You have no control. If a plant is sensitive to nutrients, there are no adjustments you can make.
The plants don’t look too bad. Looks like they’re adjusting. The problem is that they’re autos and don’t have the luxury of time.
I have them in a 2x2. I would have sent this yesterday but I had to wait 23 hrs before I could send another message.
Yeah at first new members are kinda limited, if ya just spend time scrolling through posts on the site, those limitations go away pretty quickly…
That light says its about 100 watts power draw from the wall which is just fine to veg a couple plants in a 2x2 but its a little under powered for flowering…
That doesn’t mean it won’t work, cuz it will.
We just cant expect a huge yeild.
I don’t want to discourage you, it’s a learning process and we all went though it
If you haven’t found “Dr MJ coco” yet, Google "coco for cannabis " .
That site is all about grow lights, they explain things way better then i ever could. They even have a calculator that you put in your tent size and it tells you how much light is best…
Theres alot to learn but none of its really hard, if you’re willing, you can be growing like a pro in no time
Thank you for your advice. I got a ph pen coming. And that website said I might get 7 to 9oz which is jus fine for me since I have 4 in veg and another two seedlings. I really appreciate the help from everyone. This is a great community
