I’m growing outdoors trying an Purple Kush autoflower. This plant started sprouting 8 weeks ago. We started in a pot, then 4 weeks ago I transplanted into the ground. At that time I thought it looked like it wanted to flower. 4 inches tall… Now I’m thinking stress caused that wanting to flower and either it’s a male plant or a hermaphrodite. The lower part looks relatively normal and the upper part is tall and spindly… strange looking. Look like seeds at the nodes… I think I just pull it up. Seems early for it to be able to fertilize the females because they’re small too…
Pics or it didn’t happen.
Wow that is something. Thanks for sharing. I know that there are different expressions…I have not seen that one
And only one leaf at the upper nodes…?
Looks like a lady thumb plant. Which is not cannabis I know but that what it resembles to me. This plant never ceases to amaze me with all the phenotypes
I thought the same thing… some other invader plant… then I showed it to a plant identifier app and it called it cannabis.
LoL it’s definitely cannabis Growmie
Wow, yes thanks for sharing. Looks like it’s pulling out all the stops. Herming, revegging, flowering… heck I don’t know what all
A weird ruderalis mutation would be my guess with it being an auto
I see what you did there. I was thinking of doing the same thing when i had my plants outside. Strip the plant of its vegatation to the point its unrecognizable. Natural camouflage!
I could not get myself to do it so i spent well over 1K for indoor grow equipment. Im a little eccentric at times.
Should I get rid of this plant? I don’t want it to affect other “normal” plants…
Transplant it far away from the females and put a fine net over it and cultivate seeds. Heck its already outside.
I’m not seeing any male parts, let it go and see how it turns out
Look up Aussie Bastard Cannabis, looks kinda similar to what’s happening here. As said, the Ruderalis gene is probably just showing very strongly bc it’s an auto flower. It probably won’t have the highest THC content if that’s what you’re looking for.
Let it grow but keep away from others until you know…
