Strange and sudden

I have two northern lights growing and they have been in 12/12 lights for 2 weeks. One of the plants has shown issues with the leaves since mid veg. I’ve never had issues with my grows except a little nutrient/wind burn.

Yeah it’s really weird. I’m still in the beginner stages but I’m cautious
about my grows. I haven’t had any huge issues and have researched a ton
before trying any techniques. Basically the leaves showed signs of lack of
nitrogen. When I increased the nitrogen nothing happened. The plant didn’t
get worst or better. When I out them into flower they remained the same.
All of a sudden I had a few “top buds” start to grow strange like in the
photos. Then a day ago they started to “snap” on their own. It looks like
someone had pinched the step but I haven’t messed with them since late veg.
I trimmed and thinned them about 2 weeks before flower.

I do however I can’t seem to upload them sorry.

Strain; northern lights

Soil in pots with a water reservoir at the bottom. I water the plants till
the bottom has a little bit of water then I let the plant soak it up. I
never leave standing water for more than a day

System type? Indoor 5x5x6 tent with 4 inch inline fan, 2200watt worth of
light. Temp never passes 83 and never lower than 65

PH of runoff or solution in reservoir? Haven’t checked it but I will add it
to the list of things to check

What is strength of nutrient mix? I use cutting edge solution and follow
the chart on the bottle. I never had to check the ppm before but again,
I’ll add it to the list to check

Indoor grow

Light system, LED with 2200watts

Temps; Day=65-75
Night=70-80 average

Humidity; 40-50

Ventilation system; Yes, 150cfm out and a natural draft in.

AC, Humidifier, De-humidifier. Ac is used through the natural inlet.
Humidification dehumidification used during veg. I’ve been able to regulate
humidity during flower without equipment.

Co2; yes, co2 box and I release CO2 via cartridge 2-4 times a week.

Non of my other plants are suffering. Just one out of four

Interested in following along on this. Very strange looking symptoms. Good luck!

Ph is the most important part of growing mj , if it is out then the plant cannot eat. And the ec or ppm ,parts per million tells you how strong your nutrient solution is so you can feed enough but not too much, and burn ya plants.

Is there a space heater in there?

No space heater. Temp is regulated by very close observation on the house
temp and LED lights.

By closely regulated you mean there is no thermometer with historical reading?

I rewrote my reply down further.

There is a thermometer but no record besides what I observe. I check on a
regular basis.

My opinion your potassium deficient

To me it could be 1 of these 3, but also ph is a biggy!!

I was thinking about your plant and did some further reading. I don’t know anything other than what I read, so keep that in mind.
Despite the moderately small amount of zinc required in the cannabis plant, zinc deficiencies occur fairly regularly. Symptoms of a zinc deficiency include twisted foliage growth and yellowing of the veins of the older leaves.

It’s also possible for the plant to begin to lose color and grow paler. When the flowering phase occurs, the same issue can crop up in the buds, and they might curl or become deformed. Zinc deficiencies often occur in tandem with iron or manganese deficiencies.

Zinc plays an important role in a number of different plant processes, including plant development and the production of vital enzymes. Severe deficiencies can cause the plant to wilt or even break the stem. Because of the linkage between zinc, manganese, and iron, it’s important to be careful when trying to treat a zinc deficiency

@Mrmiller89, give her a good dose of nutrients containing soluble potassium and make sure your ph meter is reading correctly. @Majiktoker is the one to listen to.
