Has anyone had experience with Critical Mass Autos?
Blue Dream Auto presses out real nice! Got my first streamers ever! I am going to enjoy pressing this harvest. Wish I had a bigger press.
The first picture is pressed at 180 for 3 mins with 1 min warm up.
The other is pressed at 200 for 4 mins with 1.5 min warm up. This is going to be my son’s birthday gift in 3 weeks so maybe 1 more run to fill up container then set aside to cure.
This plant is hanging now for 18 days and just now nugs are popping off easily. Humidity was kept at 62% RH.
I also harvested half the plant at 14 days when the smaller buds popped off easily.

Great work. Ever thought of bho? I’ve tossed my press idea. BHO. Easier, cleaner. (Clean up after all presses can take longer than entire BHO process). Plus. Shatter. Stable at room temperature. I know. Scares some people. Safer than using the store bought ac recharges to potentially destroy high value property in a car tho. Since it’s basically vacuum. Super cool, drain, close, vacuum res, super cool res, open, close, dissipate. Work complete. Only mess in diamond miner (yes veg chamber, but ez), which isn’t mess.
What I’m curious about. Is why so many press when BHO is around? Equipment all runs about the same price (I don’t look for equipment made for cannabis, these are tools that existed before extraction) and BHO preserves terps when done correctly. Honestly in a well ventilated area with proper equipment, bho is safer to.
Just saying. That’s some of the best press I’ve seen. If I didn’t see it seeping. I’d think it was bho… just imagine what you’d make in bho

@Budz Thank for the massive compliment!! I got tired of smoking flower all the time, hard to hide the odor and my tolerance was WAY up and honestly, flower was getting boring. I dabbled with pressing before but using a hair straightener.
My son gifted me this NugSmasher Mini a few months back when he returned from Active Duty. I also ordered a dab pen so I can medicate on the go without issues with odor, especially in my unfriendly state.
I’ve thought about doing BHO but before I do, I plan on building a vacuum chamber to evacuate all the butane.
I was really worried that this strain was all gonna come out like the first picture, I figures I had a whole plant to get it right, looks like 200° is the perfect temp whereas my LSD from earlier this year prefers a low and slow of 180°

Ah. The way I planned to do it was to use a standard recovery tank to both supply at the top . Vacuum the tank. Run recovery side to bottom. Place recovery tank in dry ice. I basically intend to copy this. Little more modern.

If you use a CLS (Closed Loop System) all butane is recovered. Except for about 1% at the very end. Probably less than that wasted.
I think so too, but the source turbo is a close second, for preserving terpenes.
