Starting out with seeds

Hi all so i am getting started, this is my soil and pots and seeds in water to germanate

Just want to be sure all looks good with what I have and how I am starting, I am only doing 2 seed now so I don’t screw up.any input will help. Thank you Feltracer.

Make sure those cups are filled with soil almost to the top of the cup, give or take half an inch.

You got a pH meter? pH up and down? TDS meter?
