Starting my first photo plant 😁

They still popped after all that time? Were they in a drawer or something? Those are awesome stories, thank you for sharing them with me. Did the outside plants have more expression at the end in your opinion bc of the cold nights?

Congrats on entering the world of Autos…* grow autos because of the time and space factor…also…Its fun!* I grew one photo Romulan last season. It wasn’t really what I expected…but then again Ive learned a lot more so ??? I still have some seeds left maybe I will so I can try LST oe SOG or something I don’t do with autos…I never ā€œmessā€ with them…I let them just grow. I grow outdoors and yes they do have more expression as you say…The colors from they cooler night temps bring out all the hues of purple blues silver gold etc.

I use Jack’s 321 and have to flush occasionally. It’s not a problem even when I scrog

Use a elevated rack with a saucer below. I simply slide it in and out.

I remember finding the seed in a ā€œkind budā€ I got in NYC. That was the only name they had for it back then. Finding a seed was very rare and I remember the guy offered 50 bucks for any seed you found. Last spring I was starting my vegetable garden indoors by sprouting some seeds under a small led light. I remembered the seeds I had saved all these years and said what the heck let’s see if they grow. They grew alright. I’ll post some pictures soon. I’m not good at computer stuff but I’ll figure it out. Nobody told me about the fade stage of a plant. At the end of the grow the fan leaves were turning yellow and falling off. Then I noticed the flowers getting real frosty. As i looked around the garden I realized it’s late September, everything is fading. It’s just plain green with a kind of piney/lemon smell and taste. I’ll never know the name of it and I had no males so that’s that. I used ā€œworm dirtā€ that I get from work. We sell night crawlers and other live bait to tackle stores. 500 worms in two pounds of peat. I have two jars left. I call it Nightcrawler. The structure of the plant suggests that they were probably indica. Fat leaves and stocky plants. Good smoke too, I broke some out this morning as I’m writing this. On a side note, I had two autos out in the garden next to my tomatoes. One got tiny seeds at the bottom of just a few buds. I saw a bee on the plant a few times. Being so close to my tomatoes it could have created a new strain. Cannitomatoes. or was it the cannibeans?

I would love to see pictures whenever you get around to it! Thats an awesome story thanks for sharing. Nightcrawlers is an excellent name for a strain so lets go with that hahaha.

One or two times using the standard riser and saucer combination had me looking for something easier.

Yeah im in the middle of my 2nd grow and im already over the flushing and moving and draining. That system would make it soooo much easier for me. Might have to try it.
