Starting my 2022 indoor grow

@Dj351 so just wanted to say I love the boxes. I think I’d be willing to give $225 for that box. Just because it’s handcrafted made out of cedar, has a hemp leaf and it will be like an heirloom and or an antique in time. Also because of its durability it’ll last forever. Yes I think it would be worth every penny of that. In fact let me know when you get on eBay I’m going to be getting one maybe 2.:grin::grin::v::v::raising_hand_man: by the way love the gazebo

@kaptain3d @Graysin good morning everyone I hope you are all doing well. Haven’t been on for a while been so busy. Don’t have as much time as I used to. Anyway fixing to put two Godfather OG’s into the bud room. They are ready to flip and go in to that jungle laugh out loud. Don’t have pictures of the bud room I will get some tonight. But here’s the old box and those sitting beside it laugh out loud

So if you look close at those Girl Scout cookie clones you can see they look kind of weird still they’re still reverting back. @OGIncognito

I also FIMMED the two Godfather OG’s

And this is a super silver haze that has a little bit of genetic defect going on. I also have Granddaddy Purple in the Box and a T- niny little purple kush started. And all my grow Bros and sisters out there that I didn’t have time to mention I hope you all have a blessed evening and a great grow.:grin::grin::v::v::v::raising_hand_man::beers:

@Blackmoon good evening my New Zealand on the other side of the world friend. So how are the repairs coming. I sure hope you got your roof fixed. The way it rains over there you need to get that fixed pretty fast probably or I would think. Anyway I hope all is going well for you and your family. So how does your mother-in-law Fair in such a backwoods environment at her age. Didn’t you say she was in her nineties. She must be a very strong woman. Take care my brother and keep them growing:yum::yum::money_mouth_face::money_mouth_face::raising_hand_man::raising_hand_man::raising_hand_man::v::beers:

Heres to you my grow bro @RPgrower from the up side of this amazing planet spinning in space positioned at exactly the right distance from the all conscious sun :sun_with_face: that it can be inhabited by us.
Theres air and water too.
Perfect.
Coincidence who knows.
Thanks for your message i felt truely chuffed
Yep mother in-law is a hardy woman for sure
In her younger years she flew twin wing tiger moths planes and yes nearing 95
One of a few women pilots of the time.
She walks to feed the ducks in the evenings something younger people struggle to do.
She lived in her home for more than 65 years before she came to terms she could no longer live there…
She has adapted well really considering
She is a bit ablivious of whats going on outside her world inside her accommodation she now has.
As far as the roof goes the repairs are slow
Ive hired a big tarp to cover the open roof in the mean time.
I went to a tin cladding company inquiring about the options of re covering the roof with new tin
Was a crazy experience complete loss of communication of what i needed.
T
In the end the women in the office got a guy from the factory floor to come out and talk to me.
Too easy. Turns out cladding is only made 1 .6 mts wide hence why there is a gap on my existing roof.
Of 300 mm
25 mm to an inch
So the tarp is costing 20 bucks a day til i sort it.
Bad time of year with little sun and heat to dry the roof out.
Ive been lifting the tarp back when i can to dry it out.
Next few days more rain forecasted.
Wont be going back to that company for what i need to repair the roof.
On the cannabis front i finally got all my drying plants trimmed this afternoon yay
So so much work for so little return. My buds were so hairy with tiny leaves yet buds so small.
I just dont know why.
Whether pollenating them reduced there size.
My application of dry organic nutes or just well hidden in bushes or all the above.
Yesterday i chopped and washed both my hollands hope plants.
And the green one has given me the best return on nice dark seeds out of all the plants i pollinated this summer.
The purple plant of hollands hope i have a few seeds from not as many.
Only critical orange punch to go.
I was going to chop and wash that tonight but its getting late here your tomorrow 7.30pm
Might cut and paste this as my update on my thread.
Cheers :beers:

@Blackmoon good to hear that you all are well. I figured youve been busy. Your mother in law sounds like quite a woman. Sorry to hear the roof is giving you so much trouble. Maybe you should look at using rubberized rolled roofing. You use a blow torch to melt the seams together. It is flexible . Is there plywood under the metal? What are the dimensions of your roof? Can you not buy a tarp? Renting a tarp seems kind of crazy to me. A good tarp would alwats come in handy. Did you see the finished boxes? They really turned out sharp.

Ive got to crawl under my house today. I have a small water leak i must attempt to repair. Im dreading it. I dont like being in tight places. All for now. Happy growing

Well @Dj351 while i was sleeping you may have been crawling under your house fixing water pipe leaks.
Im at work now its 7.30am Saturday
Yes i have a few tarps around but all in use
I dont like buying rubbish tarps and dont have the cash to buy a good one.
The one im hiring to buy is really thick and to buy would be over $1000 nz
Its a good test for there product also i was at work on day shifts sorting the problem out.
Best i could do with short notice short of money short of time short now of sunshine
Not the best combination
Ill get there.
Ill look into that stuff you have mentioned
Even though i work seems like forever im still pretty broke live on a shoe string get paid and the money gone.
It was a very strange encounter with the office person i delt with when enquiring about getting more flashing and that was my window of opportunity to get it sorted so now more rain forecasted and im back at work.
Places to get the flashing not open on weekends so more delays.
Im very keen on getting a few more tarps.
Along with all the other things i need lol.
New gum boots with out holes in them for instance .
Theres lots of just making do in my world with how it is and what i got.
Every now and then we advance from the stone age small steps at a time.
My mother in-law has some money to build a deck then we have to pay back as its actually my wifes brothers share of mother in-law house sale.
I enquired like 2 months ago with a builder and he only got back to me yesterday.
He seems a good guy and maybe give me a hand with the roof leak.
He also mentioned some sealant like your mentioning.
Watch this space
Have a good evening
And yes i seen the progress of your boxes they look great.
Cheers :beers:

@Blackmoon good morning, its 5:15pm here. I suppose its morning there. Were in pretty much the same predicament when it comes to finances. I had a water line come loose next to my hot water heater. When i pulled the panel off i saw that there had been a small leak for some time. It had partially rotted the subfloor and the 40 gal tank was leaning a little. Also it is 17 years old. Not good. I did some thinkiñg about this and decided to go tankless. We have about $1400in our cookie jar that we have been saving. The new water heater cost $2000. We have to pay $1000 down and make payments on the rest. So now we are just about broke again. Everything has become so expensive. Nice to hear that yòur getting a deck. Even better that you might have some help on your roof. All i know is hang in there friend. Maybe it will get better some day. Happy growing
