Starting my 1st clone try

Hello my good friends. Here is four of my girls that I got off a beautiful mother plant. Just planted today.

Hopefully I will get it right the 1st time.

I have these girl’s under a 17w grow light. You think this will work?

They should be fine …if for some reason they start to droop I would take a plastic bag and put it over and so that way it’s kind of like a humidity Dome and that’ll keep the humidity in there but that’s only if they start to show signs that they need it…

How long should I keep the lights on them.

18/6 if you want them to root

Thanks Donaldj. Is that 17w grow light going to be enough light for them to
start rooting?

they usually like very low light when trying to root I shade mine in my veg space behind mothers so they get very little direct light

I was wondering about that. I was afraid that the 1000w LED full spectrum
light would be too much but if I hide them behind Mama they should be
okay… Right?

@Rdg1951

Welcome to our crazy world of marijuana growing here at ILGM
It may get crazy here at times but everyone here has it covered…lol

With that said they are nice looking clones by the way what strain are they ?
They really need o be in a dome for humidity and that should be around 80% till they root other wise tey look great not bad for your first time out.

Will

Thanks Will. I don’t have a dome and the humidity is around 65. According
to my Gage any thing above 60 is high. The girls are not looking to good
this morning. Is there something else I can do to help them thru the first
few days?

As you can see they have wilted quite a bit. My friend said they would look
ugly at first but in time they would get better. I have them in my grow
room behind the mother plant. I’m not real sure what the stran is. Got from
a friend.

Get yor self a spray mist bottle and twice a day give them a spray maye put just a tiny bit of liquid Thirve in there because for now they are taking eveything through their leaves ok?

Yes I have the spray bottles and have been spraying them. I have Rooter’s
Mycorrhizae but wasn’t sure I could use this.

@Rdg1951 I have never cloned, but I used super thrive on my last transplant and experienced zero transplant shock. Worth every penny!

Make sure you look those clones over very closely to make sure your friend didn’t send you and riders along with the clones (bugs) or fungus or anything. Just sayin, better safe than sorry!

sorry Will, meant to reply to his post and not yours.

Hello my friend Bob. The mother plant is beautiful and has no bug’s that I
can see. I will have to keep mesting until I can get some of the stuff your
talking about.

super thrive is just to help clones and transplanting. You can get it online and at all the growing/ hydro stores. Helps them get established. Misting with ph’d water is good for now if that is all you have,

And sorry, I thought someone gave you the clones.

Unfortunately I live in a state that doesn’t have any grow outlets. The
closest one to me is 30 miles away but I think I will make the trip there.
I want to have everything I need to clone the WW seed’s when I get ready
for that grow. I’ll send you a picture of the mother plant.

Take some clear plastic bags and put them over the plants and secure them with some rubber bands…

Okay Peach I can do that. I have sandwich bags that will fit.
