I have that same light for my seedlings. I also use it when I’m popping new seeds. I use the paper towel method on a plate. I found that if I put the plate with the damp paper towel and seed on top of the light, the warmth from the light really speeds up the seed popping. Since I started doing this, every one of my seeds cracked and began to develop a tap root within 24 hours, most within 12.
