@Mick69 I soak in water for 12-18 hours transfer to damp paper towel until tap root appears then straight into its forever home…3 gal smart pot filled with NFTG #8 soil.

When you transplant that’s when I remove the netting. It does bind roots somewhat. I know becayse When we harvested outdoor plant ,here was that netting all in the roots by the huge tap root

As I have got from peat pods to now peat pots. When the time comes for a new home I cut vertical slots into the peat pod. Roots can grow freely
