Start marijuana flowering?

A question from a fellow grower:

I’m entering into my third week of vegetation. I just changed the water
after going two weeks with the other water. I kept adding water. All of
the levels were acceptable I.e. Tds, ph, temp. They look a little leafy.
Should I lower the lamp. Do I need to trim or top any. My blueberry is
still a runt. Do I start the flowering yet? I read where when the limbs
start coming in nonsymetrical, the plant is telling me to start
flowering.

You need to change your solution every 7-10 days. If you use more water to top off than the reservoir holds, then that is the reason you are getting a leafy plants.

Change your fresh solution more often, and, never use more top off water than what you res’ holds.

I.E. A 4 gallon res can only be topped off up to 3.6 gallons, before a compete fresh nutrient change.
