Staged Harvest -- Best Method

I just read an old thread about staged harvest – but it wasn’t very thorough. So, I’m looking to all you gurus to walk me though the proper procedure. Big question, do I return to feeding nutes after taking the mature buds? Do I need to treat cutting sites – so bugs don’t get in? Help. :heart: :heart: :heart:

I’m growing autos, White Widow, in soil FFHF+FFOH. Plants are in week 14 since seed in dirt.

Here’s a look at one I’d like to harvest in stages. Even with all the white pistils, some buds are showing amber. Should I let her rock and roll some more or harvest in stages?

If it were me, I’d let it go a while longer and harvest the entire plant at once.

I stop feeding right after I chop it down.

Personally, I don’t see any point in staged harvest with a plant that size, all the branches are at the same level, receiving the same amount of light. Now if it was a big sative, you could take the tops and allow the bottoms to ripen for a week or two
