hi, I cant figure out whats wrong every sprout that has germinated is dying.
they sprout then just stop, then turn pale green, then yellow, then brown tips with very little new growth,
tried peat pots and also rockwool same thing with both,
using tap water, with t5 lights 4 foot long, about 6" away and that is all?
cant figure out why they wont grow???
forgot to add tap water ph is 7.0
OK, you gave us the PH of the water but we need a lot more information.

there is different medium used to see which would be faster.
the two things in common are water and lights
the ones in pic 3 got burned up because I put a poison on them thinking there was something else wrong but
they started out just like the other ones, by turning light green, then yellow, then brown spots on leaves and dying, they came back stunted but growing.
there is a air pump under the ones in pics 2 and 3
none of them ever really germinated right making me think there is something wrong with the water?
the last one to spout is the ak47 in the center but its not turning colors like the others but its just not growing either, so im wandering if it is strain specific?

I’m thinking you have possibly two problems, and they are likely related. The first being not enough aeration in your DWC, and secondly and possibly as important or more important is the temperature. 80 - 85 degrees Fahrenheit is way too hot for hydroponics, especially DWC. The water in the reservoir should not be getting above 75* F or it can not hold enough oxygen and the roots will drown. Unless you invest in an aquarium type water chiller, your air temps at 80 - 85 F mean your reservoir temp is not much lower. If your air temps are always at 78* F or below your reservoir temps will likely be about 75* or below, and if you can keep your air temp at 75* F then you know for sure your water temp will be at least 75*F or lower. This is probably the main reason your plants can’t grow very well, also the one in the center looks like it is right above the air hose and maybe is getting the most air and this is probably the reason it is doing better than the others.
