Living on the Saginaw Bay offers fantastic ice fishing. I go as much as possible.
Yes spring is close but planting is at least 5 mints for me too, just getting excited as the daylight is getting longer.

Yep i know that feeling when you reach the shortest day.
Theres this yay summers on its way
If it wasn’t for my plants growing on our side the world we have reached and passed our longest day so our days are again getting shorter

Just one of the many eyes in the bay! And a few perch to top the day off. The walleye was a couple years ago and the perch just last first ice. Be safe on any and all ice.

Well anyway it was a 10 pounder. One of the bigger fish I’ve caught through the ice. Be safe out there

No fish today, ice not that good, and water very cloudy. Maybe next time. Tomorrow will be a day for making smoken venison jerky.
