Just got my new lights in today, Spider farmer SF1000 . I’m using bloomspect 1200 right now. Will I notice the difference with the new ones? I’m using them in a 4x4 ?

Ok well from what i am seeing the 2 sf lights will cover half the tent in flower. 3/4 tent in veg. Each light is rated for a 2x2 area. If u r gonna want to stick with growing and not give up id say see about returning them lights and go for hlg or diy lights.

From the website showing 2.5 X 2.5 for veg and 2x2 for flower per light

Personaly I would use all 3. Put the 2 new ones on each side and use the old light to boost light in the gap inbetween. I have even considered side lights it would really help with lst.

I have a 400w mh in my spare bath with 2 600w growstar blurples for more lighting
Can I piggyback one of the sp light to the bloomspec light?

@jack181 sf are great lights made with the exact same parts as HLG you just don’t have to pay for the name. You would need 4 of the sf1000 to get complete coverage in a 4x4 I have 2 sf2000 in mine. I don’t know anything about your bloomspect light but until I got the second sf I used a couple off brand blurples with a single sf2000 so I would definitely put your blurple in with the sf until you get something else to replace it. I found this deal on older model sf1000 they’re the same as the new ones except they don’t have a dimmer on em and they’re 60 bucks cheaper and imo you really don’t need a dimmer on a 100w light
