On the three I grew in the corners I fimmed them at the 5th node. Once the side branches started to even out in height I topped them. The plan to make an even canopy kinda worked, they were all the same height, but all almost 3 feet tall lol. From my very limited experience and experimentation, the LST in the big girl in the center had the best result in yield and limiting height. You just have to stay on it keeping the branches tied down to spread them out and keep them the same height. The whole goal is to break the apical dominance of the plant and make every branch tip it’s own main cola. I think I ended up with something like 27 dense fat top buds.
